Remember that kid in junior high who carried the inhaler in his pocket? He was always sniffling and pulling that thing out. He was shy, un-athletic and not super popular. So he went inward studied computers and now runs a silicon valley company that dominates the web based application world. The Irish people are that kid, except without the technology company. Because frankly, as a people we were historically only allowed to become cops, firemen and hard drinking priests (possibly redundant). But that has not stopped us from becoming the most enthusiastic people on the face of the planet. We are optimistic, authentic and fun loving. We also drink too much and start fights. But hey, that OU guy in the Lexus last night was following me to close on my scooter. You might even say he was oppressing the Irish
Have a good day.

White people talk in a restaurant
And rich people listen
A boy ditches his bicycle with basket
And travels only at night
A young man cannot gain wait
And coughs like a smoker
A Priest sips on his diet coke
And gives great partial answers
A gorgeous horse stumbles
And finds another early demise
A marine can see at night
And his boss needs better glasses
A homeless man takes off his shirt
And borrows a lawn mower
A beautiful couple steps to the altar
And makes a solid promise
A man with a bible leads a prayer
And wonders if anyone is listening

This really epitomizes day on the green. No one really asks the brilliant photographer to show up and shoot. She just does it and it is genius. Thank You Leslie.

I will sing to you of greater things…
Money, gold, and diamond rings
Just don’t make it last any longer than it has to
Stories of the greater things…
Fill your heart and soul with beer (tears)
Just don’t make it last any longer than it has to
I will sing to you of greater things…
Money, gold, and diamond rings
Just don’t make it last any longer than it has to
Stories of the greater years…
What’s in here won’t disappear
Just don’t make it last any longer than it has to
